Harp Vineyards’ 124+/- acres look out over the historic Valley of the Moon in Glen Ellen, California. The vineyards have been farmed since 1997 within the beautiful Sonoma Valley AVA. Views from the Mayacamas foothills span the Valley floor clear across to Sonoma Mountain.
Harp Vineyards is well-known for its fruit quality and has had grapes purchased by prestigious wineries since the vineyard came into production, including BR Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen and Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery in Sonoma.
The planted acreage (30+/-) is divided between 22+/- Cabernet Sauvignon and 8+/- Zinfandel. The Cab is planted to 110R resistant rootstock with clone CS 15 and 337 in 1997. Trellising for the Cab is Geneva Double Curtin with spur pruning. The Zin was also planted in 1997 to St. George resistant rootstock (on 5x10 spacing), using classic head-training and drip irrigation. The land offers rocky, well-drained soils on another 25+/- acres on which to plant additional vines
Among the 74+/- non-productive acres, there is an existing two-story cedar ranch home (4 bed/3 bath, built in 1998) with vaulted ceilings and gorgeous Valley views. Multiple building sites for the construction of a new family home or a winery also exist.
